There are two major common problems with iPads that require repairing. "Glass Repair" or "Glass and LCD" Repair. If the screen looks perfectly fine and their isn't damage to the LCD or 'bleeding' beneath the glass, you will just need the glass replaced. If colors look like they are bleeding, or there are visible lines, the LCD will also need to be replaced.
